I'm having a nightmare with my broadband at the moment so I don't know when I'll be able to play you. I'm changing ISP's and at the moment it is a right cock up and I have no broadband!!! :mad:

Second game I scored the best goal I have ever scored online.Usually I hit them and they don't go anywhere near the goal that flew in :eek: That gave me a great start and I just edged it from then on.I think Chelsea must'nt suit you as I recall you beating me last season in the conferance in both games and I was well beaten both times.

All of the goals I conceeded in the first game came from it bouncing of defenders at some point but the 3rd was really bizzare with Aimar emerging from a huddle of 4 players including the goalkeeper with the ball. Aimar scored a couple of screamers in the second game and every loose ball broke to you - easily one of the most frustrating games I've played. Cole who was on a hot streak in the first couldn't hit a barn door in the second either.

I just want to say thanks to everyone in League A for all the games and despite being pretty shoddy at this game compared to everyone else I've enjoyed taking part and have improved a little! :D It can be extremely frustrating at times but I'll be up for more next season.

Ive just set mine up this weekend on a new lcd, the pictures not as sharp as I hoped for. ive used component, but have rgb scart and s video to have a go at. What have you used and how does it compare to crt tv set?

lol 9 men come back from 3-0 down to draw 3-3.
I got angry, thing is I never slide tackle and then inside your box when he wasn't last man got him sent off, got me really annoyed. Thought it was really harsh.
Then I lost one of my defenders as I just wanted to injure somebody, then I thought wtf may as well try and at least get a goal for pride...
To get 3 was great.

But I have a superior goal difference, and unlike Latvia's scrape through the Euro leagues :p in Premier League rules (on which these games are based) it goes on goal difference. Harsh that it's so close between us and SaintM, it would have been even closer if Gunner had been about.

Ahh, but that's due to the smaller size of the leagues, with this many teams (and therefore games) goal difference is a more genuine factor to differentiate teams on equal points.

MarkR- You're probably looking at an old set of tables. Proudparents has been updating them for the last 2 weeks, so they have been posted on a different webpage.
Actually, most players completed all there games they possibly could.
There were a couple of players in each division who didn't come close to completing their season, but apart from that I think everybody did well.
The one good thing about this season, is that it gave the opportunity to play against opponents that you hadn't played in the past.
The one bad thing is that i came bottom of league B. My team loyalty goes out of the window next season! Real Madrid here i come :thumbs:

I think I said on a few occasions that I would be on nearly every night on Halo and if you invite me I would join as soon as I could. That's how I met up with the other people I actually played against with no problems so that didn't seem to be a problem.
In the beginning I would wait for over 30 mins for a game after inviting half a dozen people to play and not one would play me or just log off.
Anyway as I said it's all been good fun and friendly til this league.
It appears I have been looking at the wrong table also as I had it in my favourites from the previous seasons.

The season is over now and we are both not particpating in the next season anyway (strangely enough, my main reason is because people would not arrange times to play, despite numerous attempts by me), but my post was not meant to be a personal attack, just found it a bit odd that you mentioned that people in League A had not played all their games and yet you were the one who played least in the league, meaning that everyone due to play you could not of played all their games :p
As mentioned before I was looking at an old link of the league table it seems. On that link Deron has played on 14 games 2 less than me and only 1 or 2 teams have completed all their games. Due to this I thought it had dropped off.
Anyway lets draw at line under it all at this point I think and wait for a free listing day on Ebay!

Well, well well. What a couple of games. First game i absolutely dominated but just couldnt score and was lucky to get the one i did. Second game I felt resonably comfortable in the first half but your team talk was superb. You played very well and i feel a bit bad cos of that silly goal you conceeded...but very well played!

Well played matey, you peppered me with shots on the first game where you could have scored loads, think I had about 3 shots on target and all saved.
When I scored in the second game I believed I can score another to nick it, instead my stupid keeper chucked the ball to the player right in front of him with a striker tight on him instead of the man free to the left and of course you managed to nick it and slip it past Khan! :nuts:
I did score my second but it was way too late t score another. :(

Very well played mate. I never have worked out a defensive formation that works for Roma so just go attacking in both legs, and got punished this time. Against teams with great passers and attackers you have to pack out the midfield to stop it happening, but with me and Roma they just get in each others way! :nuts:
If I could have gone into the home game 4-2 I'd have been happy, but your last minute goal killed me. Although you're right, I had the chances early on in the 2nd leg to pull it back. Totti was not on form, I think Montella, who usually can't hit a barn door, must have done some sort of body transfer with him in the first leg :nuts:
As I said before though, just happy to have scraped the playoffs, only lost one of my last 14 or so games after a disasterous start. A summer of pain with Roma is over, looking forward to next season!

They were two of the most annoying games ever. Although I had the most possession in both games my front line just weren't on a par with yours. Any time the ball went near your striker he just barged his way through my defensive line and scored.
In the first game your goal:shot ratio was pretty much 1:1 for most of the game. I was up against it at 7-4 and when I hit the bar in the last minute i could have :cry:
Second game once you were two up I really couldn't be arsed as nothing was falling my way and my gf was hoovering right in front of me :mad:

Yeh cheers very good tense games. I had a really terrible slow start, I went ballistic when I was clean through and ruled off side even though the replay showed it was level (something i hope evo5 clears up) this would have pulled it back to 2-2. To compound it you went straight down the other end and scored whilst i was still screaming at the tv. Looking at the stats you totally deserved it, although i had a decent amount of possesion i only managed 3 shots.
2nd game
I couldnt believe i managed to go 2-0 up away and started to dream of winning outright with another goal, i think i pushed for this a bit too much and you pulled one back and then totally shut the door shortly after.
Well done all the best for the final, from my games with Kronik, without upsetting him, i think youve got every chance.

Well played mate, what a tight game that first one was with very little scoring chances available! In the second things went a little pot for you after going 3 - 0 down and having a player sent off :nuts: but you almost pulled it back.

Well played everybody, this format certainly mixed things up a bit and allowed us to play opponents that we probably wouldn't have done in normal circumstances.
