2% cashback at Morganstanley - check your statements!!

I signed up for the MS cc to get 2% cashback. I noticed I was onlgy getting 1% so called them and they are going to have to investigate. I'm not happy tbh. I signed up online, got the platinum card and have been spending like anything. Ive spent about 4k on it in the last couple of months so not to be getting 2% cashback doesn't impress me.

Thanks, I'll check mine, I'm the same in that I use my MS card for everything precisely because of the cash back. I'm well organised so will have every single t&c and other communication from them at home. I don't remember having a 2% deal from them though, think mine was 1%.

Most people get 1% cash back at MS. I think 2% was a 6 month introductory offer to new customers only, and even this halved after spending over £2,500.

Its 1% against the first £2,000, and then 0.5% after that. For those that have recently opened an account the cashback is doubled until 1st November (I'd take a guess that they have a rolling three/four month period, and that come next month that'll change for new signups to 1st December).

So Coolio, if you've had the card a few months and already gone over £2,000 total spends, you will be rightly earning 1%. However having used all the major credit card companies as an ex stoozer, I can happily say that Morgan Stanley have the best customer service - if there's a problem, they'll sort it. :)

I didnt get 1% even for the first 2.5k. I was reading something though they it wasn't even a capped spend, but they said theyd call me back on monday so ill see how that goes. cheers ic :thumbs:
