I have an intermittent problem whereby every now and again I go to play a movie using any of the packages detailed in the subject I just get a white screen displayed. The audio is fine but the movie can't be seen. It's just a blank white screen.
When this occurs any video \ DVD package has the same outcome. When I reboot the system everything is fine and I can carry on playing video files without any problems ?
Anyone out there with any ideas on what might be causing this as it's got me baffled ? It's only started happening so I doubt it's a hardware issue.
