Aldi and Lldi threads are not permitted to be posted in the bargain forum until a day or so before the promotion starts as the items are not available to purchase anyway. It is not different to threads that we move out of the bargain forum when the offer has finished, except on these occasions it is the other way round.

I'm thinking of picking up some of these bathroom bits - just in case I ever need them, looking at similar items at PlumbWorld (http://www.thedvdforums.com/jump.php?url=http://www.awin1.com/awclick.php^QS^mid=919^QA^id=30372) they're a bargain!

if anyone gets any of this stuff can you post on its quality please, i just took back a very similar shower bar set (£50) to homebase as it was really cheap looking and feeling. i'm hoping it will come to northern ireland in a few weeks and can pick up a bargain... but only if the quality is decent.

Can't comment on the mixer shower. I bought one of the mixer taps recently and it's excellent, must be the same manufacturer, worth 5x what I paid (tenner). I've got a mixer shower just like that though and they're much classier than the leccy jobbies.

I got the kitchen mixer tap they were doing a month or two ago (£10 - £12 I think), and that is excellent. Its very similar to the one my mum and dad had fitted in their kitchen, and theirs cost £80. Again I bought just incase!

Thanks to the op. Picked up a couple of these for the rennovation on our new house. Plenty in stock this morning at the Cardiff Cathays Lidl.

I just got the shower bar and the thermostatis mixer, look good, only suitable for high(ish) pressure it says (ok for me as fitting a pump anyway). Not bad for 30 quid for a full shower :thumbs:

My dad picked me up a few of these bits yesterday morning at Longsight - at 9.05 there was another guy who'd already filled his trolley to the brim, leaving behind just three of everything! :nono:

Very impressed with the set, certainly comparable to stuff you'll find elsewhere at five times the price :thumbs:

Argh, after posting the bargain, I arrived at my local Lidl to find all the shower bars sold!

Anyone pick up a spare by any chance??
