Just browsing my TV guide, and noticed that Suspiria is on TV this Christmas!!
Of more interest however,is the 70 minute Argento Documentary proceeding it.Its about time this was shown. Now where is the Mario Bava documentary they promised over 12 months ago!

Also,a very rare giallo is making an appearance on Filmfour,"Short Night of the Glass Dolls".Ive only ever seen a Greek dupe of this ,so it will be great to see a decent quality print!

And to cap it all, they are also showing Switchblade Sisters!!!
Oh happy days!!!

The Mario Bava doc has already been shown on E4 about a month ago (when they showed Planet of the Vampires).

So I would have thought Channel 4 might show it at some point.

Nothing says "I love you" at Christmas like a good knife murder... Short Night of the Glass Dolls sounds very interesting indeed.

The Argento and Bava docs as well as Suspiria and most other Argento works are virtually on loop on Film Four and Film Four Extreme. Great news for those without digital though.

they already have. They had a series of documentaries on various horror-meisters during their Late Night on 4 season a couple of years back. They showed a documentary followed by two films by the subject of the documentary. They made a big deal about Mario Brava in the ads leading up to his turn and was expecting something good but maybe it was all the hype however when I saw the documentary and the 2 films they showed I wondered what all the fuss was about.

As long as the short with the guy trapped in a phone box is on and I see it this time. That'll make me happy for Christmas. :)

I'll be watching the Queen's Speech:Directors cut with 94 minutes of material seamlessly branched back in.

Dig that regal DTS ;)
