Hello Guys,

I am going to buy a DVD RW but all of them are single-layer 4,7 GB rewritable as most DVD ROMs are dual-layer. Are they going to manufacture - dual-layer RW at once - in the near future ?
Second question is : Are single-layer and single-sided the same thing ? Thank you. I appreciate your help.
Best regards.

Dunno about your first question, but as for your second, they are not the same thing.

Single-Sided means the data is written on one side, so you can have single-sided single-layer (DVD 5) or single-sided dual-layer (DVD 9).
