Does anyone know where I can get a power switch for an atx motherboard.

somehow my brother managed to fry his motherboard fitting a HDD.

I have replaced the motherboard and the power led is alighting on the board to show power is going through it. But the power switch is not triggering.

Has he somehow polarised the power switch? If so how do I get a new switch without buying a new case?

Its an ASUS P4S800 I have double checked the pin assignments for the cables to no avail.

Just short the two pin power-on header (where the cable to the power switch attaches to) on the motherboard with a screwdriver. All it requires is a momentary touch and the system should power up

If it doesn't, it wasn't your switch ;)
