View Full Version : Dutch Italian Shock Region 2 DVD of ZOMBIE 2 - DVD any good?
I was thinking of ordering the R2 Dutch DVD of Zombie 2 from forum sponsor Ringos (http://www.ringos.co.uk) for £20.00, but I just wondered if the DVD itself was any good or not, since I cannot find any reviews of the disc anywhere.
Anyone got the disc and can tell me how good the disc is?

Its the best release of Zombie Flesh Eaters so far. A much better picture than the cruddy old AB release, but also non anamorphic 2:35.
The sound is just a plain 2.0 surround, although its adequate, but the real must buy aspect of the disc is that it includes the full soundtrack, plus an extra 20 odd tracks of remixes and audio spots. Superb stuff, worth it for the title tune alone :)
With no sign of the AB rerelease on the horizon, and the only extra missing from the original AB release being a distinctly average commentary track, Italian Shock is the one to go for over Dragon's Woodoo disc.
I think I'll buy it, and since Ringos (http://www.ringos.co.uk) is the cheapest, I'll get it there.
Cheers for the info.

Is Zombi 3 any good (as available via MT)?

Zombi 3 is a laughfest of cheese, with such details as a young baby zombie chomping on his mothers breast and the worst dialogue ever.
Both Zombi2 and Zombi3 can be bought at Proxis (http://www.proxis.be)

I wouldn't say he was a young baby zombie, its quite clearly a middle aged, very short man playing a teenager, that or its the ugliest kid I've ever seen. This kids face is a hell of a lot more disturbing than any of the zombie make-up in Zombi 3. :D
Its a very entertaining movie however, just not much of a plot.....
