A while ago I posted a question regarding Sky and the fact we may be getting it. Well we never went with it because it seemed too expensive compared to what we have at the moment. But now however, after working it out it actually comes out cheaper than Telewest. Add to the fact that Sky also gives you a TV package thats not in some kind of Beta stage then its even more of a thumbs up!
But does anyone know the specific differences between the Telewest Supermeme package and the Sky Family Pack?

The only disadvantage of Sky in my opinion is they are too inflexible when it comes to adding the movies and sports for lets say, a month. But you get more music, more channels etc. Cant be bad.

If anyone knows a website comparing the two that would be much appreciated.

You can add movies or sports (or both) for a month only with Sky - I do it regularly.

Why not consider a foreign package if you want up to date films and some sport
plus its lots cheaper.I paid £150 for a year to the full package but it has no where near as many channels nor wall to wall adverts.

Pompey Fan: So its possible to ring them up and have it for a month eh? Do you have to plan it 1 month in advance?

FilmFan - What do you mean by Foreign Package?

Nope, just ring them up and say you want movies, they'll activate and tell you can't change down for a month. I usually have the movies for a month every six month's to catch up on those I haven't seen before (I record as many as I can then they last me for the next 6 months - cheaper than having them all the time).
