Hi I need to channel out my walls and place some cable in there, I wish to make a scart socket in the wall at the location of the plasma screen and another 6 meters away at the locations of the DVD player,

I am thinking of using this cable

will this be okay for this distance or does anyone know of better cable?

thank you

Not sure of a suitable replacement but that wouldn't be very good as it is only screened on the outside. You really need each signal to have it's own screen as otherwise you'll get interference.

You may be better off using CAT5 cable and have it terminate at a SCART socket. A lot of people pipe video signals around the home using CAT5.

Something like the stuff here for example: http://www.kat5.tv/index1.html

All very good suggestions but cat 5 does not have individually screened cables so maybe just running the original cable I specced would be good enough?
