Filmed in 1998 (some two years before "Le Fabuleux destin d'Amelie Poulain") this is Audrey Tautou's first film.
She plays a kooky (but damn cute) character trying to find out what religion best suits her, before settling on Judaism and knowing more about it than her Jewish BF.
It's very, very funny, though in a different way to LFDAP as it's more verbal than visual. Personally I prefered LFDAP but my companion had the opposite opinion (though to be honest, my French wasn't up to it some of the time).
If you liked LFDAP, you should like DEG and if you (like every other guy in France and Belgium it would seem) like the delectable Mme Tautou, you'll love it.
