Test fot NTSC 3.58 on TVs????

Is there some way to test if your TV can display NTSC signals?

At the risk of stating the obvious, the only way I can think of is to get an NTSC source and watch it. The reason being that some TV's claim to be NTSC compatible but only via RGB, or the do not like the 3.58 flavour NTSC. Without the hanbook stating what the TV likes and how it likes it, trial and error are your best options. Hope this is helpful.
