I have the Aego 2. They were originally going to bring out an add-on package to turn it into the full 5.1 but now they're going to do an exchange scheme for those wishing to go that route. The stereo system really is very good (especially at £145 from QED!), though I have to say, as with most sub/sat systems with tiny sats, the sub has to take on a lot of the mid-range duties so you can identify where it's coming from.
The full 5.1 system has the sub with built in amp for all channels, and a dinky DTS/DD processor (made by Videologic) with outboard power supply. You can buy it without the processor. I saw and heard it at a show recently and was impressed. Shame there's no ProLogic 2 however. If you want to contact AE, ring them (they have some literature - in fact I've got a draft copy of the instruction manual), they don't really respond to emails and their website is a disgrace.
The main drawback to the system is the price (£600ish with processor) and lack of upgrade path.
