Why is this the next simpsons disc ??

just read this at dvd times: WORLD EXCLUSIVE: The Simpsons Music Themes (http://dvdtimes.org.uk/index.cgi?page=News&id=2433)

I thought they were going to release the whole lot in order of episodes like the first disc .Dont particularly fancy the idea of getting odd episodes bundled together this way.

well, first of all I don't think DVDTimes (or any newssite) are too keen on their exclusives getting cut&pasted into a public forum - you're better off providing a link to the item in question....

and to actually make a point on the news this is actually the second disc we know of in this format from Fox, see my previous newspiece at DVDTimes (Simpsons news link) (http://dvdtimes.org.uk/index.cgi?page=News&id=2423) - it would seem as though fox are just doing dual best of vhs/dvd releases, much like they continue to do so with the X-Files inbetween Season boxsets.

I read somewhere (prolly on here) that Fox were thinking of only releasing season sets of Simpsons on R1 due to the poor sales of the R2 version (wonder why?) :p
