Seems like a reasonable deal. 150 mins anytime and 50 texts for the 12 months. £27 per month taken by direct debit with cashback claimed at month 6 + 12. Mobileshop have been around for years so there shouldnt be any hassle getting the cashback from them.

isnt £27 like WAY TOO MUCH? per month

No phone though, you can get a similar deal with Orange (100% cashback) if you look around, with a phone.

And what would the point of a similar deal on "orange" an inferior service provider compared with bt which piggy backs with 02

Orange customer services are better than BT / O2. Orange network is as good if not better.

BT service is great, except for checking how many minutes you've used in the month - you can't check online or get an automated service like 3, you have to ring N.Ireland every time and speak to someone (after going through security). And it's not a 24hr service!

BT piggy backs Vodaphone not O2 - just got this tariff a few weeks ago with a free Nokia 6230i for £9.99pm for 12 month's (after cashback), and the signal here is quite poor compared to Orange.
