Cup Competitition

There will be 2 cups played simultaneously – The European Cup for teams that finshed in the top half of their division last season and a UEFA Cup for everybody else.

The draw will be made after the week 2 deadline.

I didn't realise the league had officially started when we played, I thought it was just a firendly (as I need the practice!) I'd assumed that the games were only official if they had been arranged on here or it had been agreed by voice on the night, are there any rules on this?

Thers is a stcky thread for Gamertags, use that instead of sending emails.

AndyPearce - Games can be arranged on the forums but what people tend to do is that if they see someone on live who is in their league, it is usually assumed that any invite given or received is to play league games. If both players have headsets on, it can also be confirmed via chat. Hope this makes sense.

Becuase the league didn't officially start until today, it was fair enough for you to assume your games last night were friendlies.

Thats ok mate..honestly thats the best I have played on live.I throught I was going to get cained once you went 2 nil up.I think getting to grips with the chip shot helped me out.

run the Xbox Live connection diagnostics : go to your Xbox Dashboard, click "Settings"->"Network Settings"->"Connect". Once the connection wizard has completed (hopefully succesfully), press "Y", then "A" - what are the NT, MT and IC figures?

Basically its the NT number thats the most important. ideally these should both be at 1. But in your case one of your NTs will be at 2 or 3 which means in simple terms that you connection is more 'closed' than somebodies with an NT of 1 who will have no problems connecting to people.

Port forwarding, if configured correctly, normally solves the NT problem ... but what I would recommend you do is put the Xbox IP Address (available on the Xbox Dashboard->Settings->Network Settings->IP Address) in the router's DMZ. I assume you are using a router.

It was 2 the second goal came when your defender crossed back into your box :nuts: and Owen tapped it in.

I felt pretty guilty you had some really good chances in the first half and where very unlucky with the shot that hit the inside of the post and came back out.

I was thinking the same thing !!! :nuts: My first was a glancing header inside the post, the second I put it into the far corner from 8 yards :thinking: I was gutted when you equalised as I was playing pretty well. You finished strong & I was happy to hold out for the win.

How do you substitute mid game. I bring up the pause menu and there was no option so I requested a pause but when the pause finally came it said you were making changes but I had no option!?! Is there something I should be doing??

When the pause menu comes up you can either select change player straight from the menu or go into formation settings to see stats of the players you are changing :thumbs:

The first game and goal he went round about 4 players and then the keeper, all his goals were outstanding. You more than deserve the 6 points and have a feeling you will be near the top of the leauge at the end of the season.

The penalty was worse than the header I cleared the ball with the B button instead of X and didn't let go of it quick enough hence me bringing your guy down when the ball was nearly on the half way line !! :nuts:
