Do supermarkets take book tokens?

As title really. I have a load of book tokens, and ASDA et al sell cheap books, seems ideal. Can anyone confirm whether or not they do before I go tomorrow and try? Cheers :thumbs:

Pretty sure the answer is no - they don't sell them, and as far as I know (used to run a bookshop) you have to sell them to be able to accept them. It's why places like HMV and Virgin (who both sell books, albeit a limited amount) do not accept them.
