Can anybody tell me what I need to do in order to display iamges from a CD or DVD on a telly when playing through a DVD player?

Do the images need to be saved in a special file format? .jpg doesn't seem to work, so is it avi, or and mpeg format?

Or do I need to get some specific software to create this?

Thanks for your help with this

.jpg is fine for the pics, but the DVD player needs to have the disc itself mastered in a certain format. ULead do a great package that has a trial. www.ulead.com - can't remember the name of it though.

Pictureshow, that's it.

In Nero, I think you just select the jpgs you need, and burn it as a 'Photo CD'

Have a look at an excellent product called ProShow Gold (made by photodex - photodex.com I think!)

Allows yuo to create excellent video based DVDs of jpegs including transitions, background muzak etc. etc.
