Terminator 3

In my quest to continue to only post new topics that are of ground-breaking relavence, I think you'll like this little beaty, that sheds new light on Terminator 3, which is along with Star Wars and Superman, part of the big 3 all time series of movies.

What you probably all ready do know is that James Cameron is not directing it. You also all probably know that they are making Terminator 4 too, and at the same time as T3.

Now you may also have heard the sad news that the release date is being put back 12 months from summer 2002, to summmer 2003 (at least it won't now clash with the World Cup).

But what I can give you now (and remember you heard it here first) is the technical Spec of Carrie-Ann Moss' Terminator character, specifically what she can do that Robert Patrick couldn't (other than mother children).

Incredibly, the female cyborg will have several new powers, like being able to disappear, mold into someone else, and even turn into an energy form.

LOL, what a little joker he is. Superman part of the 'big 3' all time series of movies? :nuts:. Even though the 3rd and 4th movies suck beyond belief. Has he not heard of BTTF and the Indiana Jones movies to name two.

Also, when will all this PC ******** end, a female terminator?, why? whats the point?. What next, a female 'James Bond'? :eek: :brickwall :D

I am currently reading T2 INFILTRATOR - by S.M Stirling. It is a spin off type book about new types of terminators still trying to bump of Ms Connor & son, It doesnt say anything about this being planned as a sequel but its a good read anyway.

I think though that when Terminator 3 does come out it will simply be a "bang-bang-you're-dead" action film to satisfy the idiots.

I've just been over at the cinescape website, and they have a little report claiming that T3 will have a budget in the $170m region, making it the most expensive movie ever greenlit. This little tidbit may be of interest to DVD collectors...

"... According to Variety, to defray those costs by whatever studio picks the film up, the video rights to the first two TERMINATOR films may be attached, which would allow the films to eventually be released by that studio in a three-film set."

There's a surprise then: a super-duper 3 film DVD box set.

As much as I love these films, the info on Terminator 3 & 4 bring the word Turkey to mind. Reasons:
1) Filming back-to-back
2) no Cameron (or Hamilton?)

Just hope I'm proved wrong.

I think that there's an over use of the spolier tag in this thread, it's becoming rediculos. Anyway just so i don't get flamed:

I don't think filming back-to-back will hurt any film as the forecoming LOTR movie will show, besides this would have smoother continuation from one film to the next. (Which was the Mummy Returns major downfall)

No Cameron is a dissapointment, it's his baby after all and his vision, he should be the one to make the 3rd movie. The Hamilton charater (Sarah?) is no longer needed, she has run her course and it's easy to carry on without her.

One more thing why 4? Haven't people in Hollywood heard of trilogy's anymore. Every franhise has been runined by going to a forth movie.

Why not ? I can't see any reason why there can't be a Jamie Bond either. Might be the kick up the arse the franchise needs.
