My little brother has an xbox and is trying to use some cheats but he doesnt know what L and R mean or what buttons they resemble- can anyone tell me please?

Thats what I told him but he keeps saying it isnt working :/ Im 350 miles away from him so cant try it myself! Will get him to try again- thanks

In that case it could mean left and right on the d-pad.

Yes he said he has tried that too and when I have looked up some cheats online it does just say left and right for these

It's either a dud cheat (many are) or he's not inputting correctly/quickly enough.
What is he trying to do?

The L & R buttons relate to the Left or Right shoulder buttons.

Has he tried clicking (pushing down on) the left and right analogue sticks ??

I will ask him tomorrow- he is only little so will be in bed now! Thanks for your help guys- he probably isnt doing it fast enough!

Both the shoulder triggers and the analog sticks are called L and R, but most people are talking about the triggers when they say it.

Hmmm. Is he trying to enter Doom 3 cheats?

Most websites have some cheats listed for Doom 3 like "Hold L and press X, Y, A and B". But those cheats are for the classic Doom games that come on the limited edition.
