Bolton v Fulham
Spurs v Nott'm Forest
Everton v Man Utd
Charlton v Leicester
Burnley v Blackburn
Southampton v Brentford
Newcastle v Chelsea
Arsenal v Shefield Utd

* Ties to take place February 19/20

Not a great draw if you're hoping that the top 6 in the prem will reach the final. With Boro and Liverpool already out Everton or Man U will be next leaving only 3 teams for 2 places.

I bet Gary Megson's pleased he might be heading back to the Hawthorns.

If you look further down the table you will notice that out of the top 9 there are 7 teams still left in the cup.

Hopefully there will be 6 of them still in the next round draw :D

Perhaps, but the only thing that counts is having the two finalists in the top 6 of the premiership so that the Uefa cup spot goes to 7th placed team

Of all the teams i didnt want Forest to draw it was WBA. If they beat us i'll never hear the end of it from the company's resident WBA supporter.

Heh heh - with Dawson/Reid off to Spurs today, and memories of Spurs v Forest in the awesome 1992 semi-final of the Rumbelows cup, I've come over all nostalgic....

Can't see WBA beating Spurs meself.....

Don't worry, you'll be able to mention they didn't even get to the 5th round

Probably for the best seeing as we wanted a big club to bring some cash into the club :D

Why? this goes against the all history of the cup and what has made it so special over the years, perhaps you would have the top teams seeded in the future so to help them get further in the cup, would not have helped Liverpool very much this season though

Southampton v Brentford/Hartlepool

Jebus, we *might* actually progress another round.
Could have definatley been a worse draw.

Fingers crossed!

I think you are reading my post out of context to where it was first used.

It would be good because that would mean that Charlton had were still in it :D

Everton v Man Utd is Saturday, 19 February @ 17:30 on the beeb.
Burnley v Blackburn is the next day.
Newcastle v Chelsea is a 4'o'clock kick off, also on the Sunday.

Not too sure about any other matches. Sky have a 12'o'clock saturday showing don't they?

Also bbc1 will be showing the Spurs v West Brom replay saturday week & sky have the Sheffield United v West Ham fixture.

What the? Something's seriously wrong at the beeb as we're now watching the snooker on BBC1 ;) All fixed now though

Is it just me, or is the sound really poor? I'm watching via Freeview and it's 'tinny' (not usually like this on my system)

That thing with the snooker was appalling!
