Why weren't you there? What a game to miss!

Fantastic day for the competition. For Exeter to visit Old Trafford and get a 0-0 is superb! Brilliant stuff.

Oh what a disgrace. United should have played a much better team than that and just blew them away. Instead they play a crap team and look what happens :oh-hum:

I was looking forward to seeing Exeter get thumped and now it's been ruined. I wonder were Exeter got 9000 fans from :suspect:

I'm off, got beer to drink before Argyle knock Everton out of the cup

I knew you would be happy at that result :D

Indeed, considering they hammered us 6-0 less than 2 years ago this is a cracking turnaround. Hopefully this will make the lads believe they can do something and get up that table.

Well done to Oldham, a resolute performance. Manchester City will just have to take that one on the chin.

Also well done to Shef Utd, Sunderland, West Ham, Exeter City, Swansea and any other team who beat a team in an above division.

Well done Exeter and Oldham. Looked like they were going to be more upsets after about an hour but most of the big teams scored after that.

Oh well. I think we played really well in the second half. Really bad defending for there second goal.

Alan thinks we should have had a penelty, but I'm not sure. I think Everton just had that extra cutting edge. We had a few chances though.

We're much better than 17th in the championship would suggest.

Agreed ... even though I picked it 3-1 Everton in the compo here I found myself cheering your boys on

They should be proud of their performance tonight for sure ...

Terrible coverage from the BBC bar the two pundits for the Plymouth vs Everton match.

Useless commentary - how many times did Motson get the wrong name of the player on the ball or involved in an incident??? Lawrenson's awful aswell.

Add to that the crap camerawork and terrible director.

Sky Sports really put them to shame.

It was a superb performance by Plymouth who were unlucky to to loose by that margin. To be honest I didn't think it was a penalty it looked to me as if the player tripped himself up.

I agree JCL about the BBC's coverage, we don't know how good we have got it with Sky until we watch coverage from a different channel.

How brilliant has this third round been, I can't remember a round in this competition before when the Premier League clubs have been made to fight to get through. And it doesn't doesn't stop with the big teams either as a couple of Championship teams were knocked out by lower league opposition.
