The Government's about to announce new legislation allowing working parents to virtually dictate what hours they want to work.
It comes after a woman successfully sued Avon & Somerset Police to get them to fix her working hours around her schedule.
Now, I'm not a parent, YET I know plenty who are and understand family pressures, so don't flame me over that.
YET, I still think this is bad for business and potentially discriminatory against single people - it will be single employees who'll be expected to fill the gap while mums and dads are off doing family related stuff.
I just feel this country is neglecting a large portion of tax-payers who don't have children either yet or have decided not to have any - seems like they're being penalised for not having kids.
Discussion please...
