How come very few boozers are willing to put cricket on uninterupted during the day? Planning a few Saturday afternoon bevies for the next test in a weeks time, but run the risk of having to watch 'Soccer Saturday' instead. Don't get me wrong, I'm a big footie fan as well, but we are talking about our national summer game in the run up to the Ashes...

Does anyone know of any pubs in the Newcastle area that put test match cricket above conference league football in the pecking order??

Any Aussie bars in the area? - Always find they have a wide range of sport on - you may find they have footy on the big screen with the volume up - but theres usually plenty of TVs with cricket on too.
