After Australia has just wrapped up another easy series win
we are now moving onto one day mode down here, however in an effort to raise money for the Tsunami relief their is a one off one day match with the following teams:

SQUADS
Asian XI
Sourav Ganguly (captain), Sanath Jayasuriya, Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Marvan Atapattu, Virender Sehwag, Yousuf Youhana, Alok Kapali, Kumara Sangakkara, Muttiah Muralitharan, Shoaib Akhtar, Chaminda Vaas, Anil Kumble and Zaheer Khan.

Coach: Bob Woolmer
Manager: Syed Ashraful Haque

REST OF THE WORLD
Ricky Ponting (captain, Australia), Matthew Hayden (Australia), Adam Gilchrist (Australia), Stephen Fleming (New Zealand), Brian Lara (West Indies), Chris Gayle (West Indies), Chris Cairns (New Zealand), Shane Warne (Australia), Glenn McGrath (Australia), Dwayne Bravo (West Indies), Darren Gough (England), Daniel Vettori (New Zealand)

Coach and manager: Steve Waugh (Australia).

Should be an absolute cracker of a match at the MCG, Almost like dream teams , however I think Tendulkar has pulled out. Just a pity we could'nt get a few more Englishmen and some South African players due to their current commitments :(

I hope this is going to be shown on tv here in the UK, perhaps Sky Sports would cover it as this is one match that all cricket supporters would want to see. You have to congratulate everybody for getting this organized so quickly.

It's going to be a huge day there
Good news for the charity organisations this is going to

I'm hoping for a Matthew Hayden/Brian Lara partnership!!
or a
Muralitharan,Akhtar attack at either end!!

It's going to be a fun but hard fort match I think.

The ICC World XI make 348-8 off their 50 overs thanks to a 115 from Ricky Ponting.

Was great entertainment - well done to all those involved. Super crowd there aswell. :)

Cheers also to Sky Sports for picking up the rights - don't think any other broadcaster would have bothered.
