anyone know whats happened to this release???
Oh, if only this had a release...
Last I read was about a commentary track having been recorded at Pinewood or Elstree (don't remember which) by Michael Caine and a few others involved with the movie. Play had a pre-order page too, but no official date announced by Paramount. One thing you can guarantee is that they'll overprice the disc as usual. :(
I haven't even seen this movie yet!! I dieing to see it but it's never on TV!

Never on TV?!!! - It seems to be on 2 - 3 times a year!
Try as I might to like the film, and I must have watched it 4 or 5 times, I still hate it. I don't understand what everyone else sees in it - it's such a stupid film!
I keep a look out in the secduals but i never find it, your opinon on the film is yours but i have to see it for my self in order to make my own opinon.
It's bound to be on the BBC over Christmas

I'm not flaming you or anything, but I am curious.
If you hate the film so much, why did you look at this thread?
Just wondering.
I can't wait for this to be released - good ol' fashioned fun movie. It's also for the classic Mini getaway, seeing my babies running around Italy is just pure poetry!

I'm sure this hasn't been on for ages, it used to be on a lot. I remember them showing the widescreen versions just after the PAL laserdisc came out.
I can only sorta remember one showing since then though.

They seem to have done that with all the films I remember being constantly on over Christmas, Wizard of Oz, Great Escape, Italian Job. Now I'm actually ready for a nostalgia trip they don't show them.
Not like Denmark. They have a 20minute (if that) English play (called the party or somthing similar) which is repeated every year on New Years Eve. A few years ago they decided not to run but had to start again because so much fuss was kicked up.
