Hi,
I am putting together an article and it has to adhere to a set format. I have two columns per page and need to insert a footnote. However, when I get a footnote at the bottom of the page, even when it only write out on one column, the second column's text stops as if the footnote was above this also.
My problem is that I need the space as I only have two pages and need it all! So, is it possible to have a footnote below one column of text and have the second column use up all the space available to it (as bound by the margins etc.)?
Any help or ideas would be appreciated!
