The Ruling Class - your opinions please

I've never seen the film before but am quite tempted to get the Criterion disc after reading some favourable reviews. Can someone help me to decide?

Fantastic satire with a terrific British cast - Harry Andrews, Peter O'Toole, Arthur Lowe et al. Very funny, and very dark; definitely a touch of British class and a film that can be considered a real classic. Consider it a hybrid of Lindsay Anderson and Dennis Potter and you'll get the idea.

Strangely, rarely seen on TV, but then again when was If or O Lucky Man last broadcast (and yes, I would consider The Ruling Class in the same bracket, even if the humour is a tad broader than Anderson's)

The Criterion disk includes an interesting and informative commentary track from writer Peter Barnes, director Peter Medak (thank you Gary Couzens) and star O'Toole.
