Just shows how far we've come graphically in a few years.
Wonder when the Amiga version is released :D
Reminds me of what Goldeneye used look like on my old PC via UltraHLE
It really doesn't look that bad!
I remember buying my Voodoo2 card - it was a bloody long thing - it only just fit inside my case with my P166 MMX :)
He has SLi'd 2 Voodoo 2's though :D
At least it's not so dark.

I did that many years ago and didnt notice much, if any, difference at all

That's just what i was going to say.
With modern cards everyone is moaning that they can't see anything.
Perhaps the graphics are just the same, but we can't really see how bad it is :D

You should have! Should have got 1024x768(!!!) resolution as well, as opposed to just 800x600 with an 8MB V2 card! Not to mention about 60% more speed.
Lol, the things we do for more performance!

I got 2 voodoo2`s in a box under my desk.......could never bring myself round to bining them :p

To be fair, he's getting some reasonable framerates on that setup.......however, it seems a bit of a waste of time, cos I'm sure Unreal looked a damn site better than that back then!
Unreal ran brilliantly on my Voodoo2 - as did Quake GL

Quake 2 ran great on my Voodoo 1 which was on special offer at Game for £129.99. Never have my eyes been wider as I went to 640 X 480 accelerated mode. I also played Half life 1 with this setup.
The amazement I felt going from the voodoo 1 to a voodoo 3 was amazing! 800 X 600 in Quake 2 with 100fps+ WOW!!
