Okay purchased a TEAC DV2150 today
for $250 AUS

thats realy good

know TEAC is Sh!t

but when I go into menu's etc with it

the colour goes funny and the screen tears/rolls

Im running it on a 8 year old 20' AWIA TV

through a Panasonic VCR ie Video In

and VCR tuned into the Coxial of the TV

now is this a fault with the DVD ie return for a new one

or is it the set up or the old tv

Think its a resoultion thing ie. 50hz res

and being old with a new technology??

Any Help would be great.

Don't route it through the VCR. Macrovision copy protection is your problem.

what can I do?

Change your TV! :D

If you have no way of connecting you'll have to run it back through the VCR but use a Macrovision remover between the VCR/DVD.

You could also buy a 'video sender' -which sends the signal to your TV and you'll have to tune the TV in (like a normal channel).

These are expensive though so can you afford a new/2nd hand TV?
