Having just read rst's thread i thought i would have one of my own.

I have a LG3350 which has a decoder built in i believe.

I am after a cheap speaker package,(call me a miser,but i have a wife and a season ticket to run:D ).

I have a 28" sony widescreen with the 2 pro logic speaker's,it sound's good but i feel i am still missing something.

How much better would a speaker package be.

Like rst i would also like to spend as little as poss under £150 unless its in a catologue.

Any good retailer's would be welcome.

I was reading in a book the other day about Futureonic (i think )and they had a speaker package (good one)for about £109,but i ca'nt seem to find their site.Any ideas.

Check out www.qed-uk.com for some cheap speaker packs including the Eltax Stargate and Silverados packs being the picks for budget owners. I myself bought the Silverados and am very happy with them.

To get DD or DTS though you still need to purchase an amp. Either a Pro-logic amp with 5 channel input (if your DVD player actually has a DD decoder on board) or ideally a DD/DTS amp which connects to your DVD player via a Co-axial or Optical cable.
