Best digital camaera for between £50 and £100

I just ordered a Nikkon Coolpix 3200 , worked out at £80 after taking into account triple advantage points and 10% off voucher, looks a decent camera for money...please tell me it rocks :shrug:

Try to resist the temptation to jump onto the 'more must be better' bandwagon. It's just one factor and 2mp (which equates to 1600x1200 resolution) is enough to print a good 7" x 5" print and a reasonable 10" x 8" print. 3MP won't generally give you much better quality at those sizes (- remember you're dealing with a pixel area), but it will enable you to crop a bit without losing quality. It's worth remembering too, that you'll also get fewer images on a memory card the higher the number of megapixels and the camera manufacturers tend to only bundle in tiny memory cards.

Also, you have to be careful to compare the true resolution as some camera manufacturers emblazen their specification with high numbers and then when you look into it, it's interpolated.

Another suggestion to the Fuji A330 is the Olympus C-310Z (3mp, 3 x 'optical' zoom). It's £99-99 at Amazon UK (http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0001KNRU4/thedvdforums-21).

Cheers, I do agree that more MP doesnt have to equal better...however....I think I got a decent deal in the Nikkon for my son, looks easy to use, optical zoom etc for 80 notes, can't go wrong *crosses fingers*
