Final Fantasy R4 = RCE?

Does anyone know if the R4 Final Fantasy is RCE like the R1? If so, will I be able to play it on my non RCE multiregion player - sometimes R4 disks work on R2's do they not?

I don't believe RCE has ever been applied to R4 discs. It's not that common in the USA at present, although Columbia persist in making the odd disc RCE, e.g. America's Sweethearts. :(

I don't know of any R4's that are RCE but a few of the recent high profile columbia titles in R4 haven't been R2 encoded on the film disk (mummy returns), best to wait and see
