Okay, I have a very limited budget for a set of speakers to go with my newly acquired Kenwood 5050.
Choices so far are :
1) Eltax Stargate X.1 (includes subwoofer)
2) Eltax Silverado (no subwoofer)
3) Wharfedale Valdus - 200 series (no subwoofer)
I'm a little concerned that if my package does not include a subwoofer it may sound a little light.
If I buy the Stargate pack I get the subwoofer included and could replace speakers at a later date if not happy. If I bought one of the others without subwoofer I'd have to fork out the same again to buy a subwoofer - doubling the price straight away.
Any help would be appreciated - and believe me I've read all the other threads here about speakers.
