This is the second "trailer" I've seen, they both make Phantom look a masterpiece!!
Yeah I know its real early days but are these trailers "Official"?
(They seem so half-arsed)
Yep, as official as they can possibly be.
That link above worked for me (right-click and use IE's "Save As" -- I tried it with GoZilla and it 403ed).
Notice how I steal the whole show (as usual) at 1:20 and 1:38.

just wanted to warn people about the other thread (http://www.thedvdforums.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=33250) on this topic currently having some 'un-tagged' spoilers on it courtesy of some careless ****.
if he's reading this and about to do the same:
what the ******* did you have to go posting spoilers for?
DO NOT DO IT HERE!!!
if anyone here hasn't been on the other thread yet, i'd give it a few minutes until the mods edit this guy's post.
it's a newbie, but ignorance is not an excuse - if you haven't read all of a thread you shouldn't be posting on it. if you'd done that you'd have seen these big, black, unmissable SPOILER tags. what the **** did you think they were for?!

no.
... because me needing to get a grip is not an issue. like many others, i'm looking forward to this movie and don't want it spoiled. so why should someone be able to come on the board and **** things up for other people? i wouldn't do it to you, and i wouldn't even do it to the guy on the other thread. what's more, i posted the above for other people's benefit, not mine.
this board has spoiler tags for exactly the sort of post that occured on the other thread. i'm not saying he can't post what he likes, but under certain obvious circumstances the tags are compulsory. everyone's a winner - so why do some people have to flaunt it? and in the process spoil things for other people they didn't stop to consider. :(
worse still, this guy ('answer') is not a newbie, despite his low post-count, he's been on the board since last december. and anyway, we have loads of newbies who contribute positively to this forum and wouldn't do something like that. he should know about the spoiler tags and even if he didn't, reading the rest of the thread before posting would have brought them to his attention.
and why quote my entire post when you posted immediately below it?

Have you installed Quicktime 5. You can get it from Apple's site (quicktime.apple.com (http://quicktime.apple.com) should work).
Although they'll try to persuade you to part with $30 for Quicktime Pro, you definitely don't need it to play the large version of the trailer.

The last trailer "Mystery" crashes the I.E. quicktime plugin on my PC. Hope this one doesn't. I'll dl it tonight.
There's a LOTR trailer that does the same thing :(

at this point, I'd say all the power to Lukas and his endeavours. The more he messes with the films the more and more likely it is that I wont even bother to get them when they do finally get released.
After the first incredibly horrible teaser that was out, i haven't even looked at any further since then.
Plenty of better cinema to be interested in. I think i'll just leave these hacked films to the kiddies Lukas apparently always intended them for.
Feels kinda liberating :-)

roy,
i am uploading the trailer to my server for you and will send you the link when it's finished. it should definitely work then. any further problems and it means there is a problem with your installation of quicktime, not the trailer download itself.
