Direct link (http://www.msn.co.uk/newhotmail/??PS=70635&NC=10009&CE=14&CP=1252&HL=Hotmail%2Eco%2Euk)

New registrations only started today, so there is a good chance you can get your preferred name.

Got ones for all the family thanks for the heads up KEvB  ....just a shame they are stopping us from using outlook/express to check and pick up mail unless we pay a fee :oh-hum:

Got my full name for me and the wife and family name and some other business related ones. Can't belive this has been so un-reported. Tried the usual bill gates ones etc but they have been blocked. Also some domain names of real commercial value have been blocked. Did get about 20 for family and tradenames but will be interested in how they pan out and if msn block them.

Can you use hotmail.co.uk within outlook or outlook express?

You can at the moment but Microsoft are going to start charging for you to use your e-mail client to pick up mail like a lot of us do now Read this info here (http://www.weboptimiser.com/search_engine_marketing_news/6081955.html)

I see they are already appearing on ebay:

There are hundreds appearing.

I'm getting sorely tempted to auction some of mine:-http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=3767&item=5733073244&rd=1

In 2 days 2 of my new .co.uk addresses have been sent viri. Strange as no-one even knows these addresses yet. Theres a lot to be said for not using dictionary words in email addys.

Cheers, my old hotmail account was a random string of meaningless letters; now my hotmail.co.uk account is the same as my DVD Forums name. :)

Has anyone migrated from hotmail.com to hotmail.co.uk? I want to know what happens to all your msn contact. I mean do they need to add you back on the list or something again? I got a quite a big contact list and it seem so much hassle.
