Just saw the opening of the show and there is a feature on the 'new' version of E.T. that Spielberg has 'Lucasfied' for next year.

I'm taping it to watch later, but thought it may be of interest to some of you out there!

Damn missed it! Don't they ever repeat film2001?? Not even on BBCchoice? They keep repeat everthing else!

I saw it and to be honest the CGI ET in the bathtub looked really fake, stick with the puppet I say.

And walkie talkies instead of guns?

No there's one new bit which was definitely CGI, I haven't seen the movie in a long time but the bit in the trailer features movement that the puppet wouldn't have been capable of

didn't JR say before the clip that in some scenes they'd superimposed cgi over the puppets face to make it more expressive?
