This 6800gt graphics card look decent. Overclocked and cheaper than most regular 6800 gt's.

That Wireless card...
It's not possible to just buy 2 of those to set up a network, is it?
You need a hub of some sort, right?

No additional hardware is needed. You can setup 2 wireless cards and configure a network via Ad-Hoc mode. :)

so all you would have to do is add a pci wireless card (such as the Canyon 802.11g Wireless PCI Card), and you're good to go?

Yep. Think Ad-Hoc mode as a wireless version of connecting 2 PCs with a crossover cable. :)

I bought a Belkin wireless/router from them using the 25% off code that was posted a while back, was £56 which to me was a bargain (£90 in store) though I seem to remember lots of sniffy comments about their prices at the time. Delivery is by courier so £6 isn't so bad really, though guess for cheaper things a "normal post" option would be better?

they sent me 1.1 version instead of 2.0 version. Whats more, the 1.1 doesn't even work. Windows XP does not recognize it!! sigh.

Anyone else encounter problems? I'll be damned if I'm returning it to them to be replaced at my own costs. £6 for a 5 gram memory stick!

I got one of those memory sticks as well and was very annoyed when I saw 1.1 on the box.

However http://www.thedvdforums.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=332142 it was OK after all and works fine in WinXP [used on 2 different PC's]

Maybe you have got a duff stick? :( Can you try it in someone else's PC? TBH I've never known any of these memory sticks to go wrong.

My box also states 480Mb/s.

But if you look on adtec's website, the 1.1 version is blue and the 2.0 version silver.

Hmm. I see what you mean.

However, as I said before, I am not getting any warning from Windows, which I would do normally, to say that a slower device is plugged into a USB 2.0 port :?:

Maybe there has been a mixup in production where the inards have been put in the wrong casing/packaging?
