I have just installed a new Pioneer 108 DVD writer, and every time I try to read a DVD-RAM disc I get a "D:\ is not accessible, Incorrect function" error message pop up.
It will read all other types of disc fine.
Can anyone help?
is it the correct version disc??
(according to the pioneer spec sheet, "DVD-RAM (Version 2 - 2.1 only)")

What version of windows are you using?
If it's anything other than Windows XP, I think you'll need drivers - I did for windows 2000.
I used this (http://www.mirrorproducts.co.uk/support/drivers/dvd-r/ram_win2k.shtml) one for windows 2000, and it seemed to do the trick.
