U2 "Elevation" DVD out soon - Does anyone know if the R2 is any different to the R1? I would normally bet on the R1, but the UK one is out a week earlier? Help Meeee!

The DVD is being released on the 20th November in the US, but only in the Best Buy chain of stores over there.

Everywhere else in the US is getting it on the 4th December.

Any news if the r2 has the DTS track that the US version does ???

Lads, I live in Boston, and bought this on day of release. The R1 has PCM stereo and DD 5.1. There is NO DTS track. So don't worry about missing out on anything.

What I've watched so far looks like a great concert.:clap:

i want to check that R1/R2 have the same extras.

Got my copy delivered from Amazon this morning and the extras are exactly the same as the R1 version.

Picture and sound (and everything else) same as R1. The R1 release does not have a DTS track.

had a check on Amazon.com, and it says DTS as well.... mhhh... not sure whether i should wait or what..

Amazon and Play are incorrect, Americans on the U2 newsgroups who already have the R1 version have confirmed that it is not DTS. :nuts:

You can safely buy the R2 knowing you're not missing out on anything! :clap:

Checked on the EZY site and it came to over £22.Looks like it'll cheaper on region2.

Looks like I might as well get the Madonna DVD instead then. At least that one's DTS!
