Sky has confirmed it will introduce Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtracks to certain films on Sky Premier Widescreen and its two Widescreen Box Office channels from December. Available to owners of the new Sky+ Digibox, the first film to be shown in the format will be Gladiator on December 2 with 25 other titles following during the month. To receive Dolby Digital 5.1 broadcasts, viewers need a Sky+ Digibox connected to a compatible Dolby Digital amplifier and an appropiate speaker set-up. The Box Office movies with Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtracks are Meet the Parents, The Adventures of Rocky & Bullwinkle, Bedazzled, The 6th Day, Vertical Limit, What Lies Beneath and Billy Elliot
