Is there a hack available for the Thomson DTH-5000??

My brother just bought this model DVD and in checking for him for a hack code for, I find that there is not much information available for it. I tried the DVD Reviewer (http://www.dvd.reviewer.co.uk/) site and this Hardware forum, back a good few pages -- seeing as the search facility has been unfortunately disabled -- and couldn't find any pertinent info.


I have the hacks for the 3300 and 4000 models, and am wondering do they work or does anyone if there is a new one for the 5000 model? Or, can anyone point me to any site(s) that have relevant info. Also, does anyone have the URL for Thomsons?

I've not heard of a handset hack yet for this model. Why did you buy it unless you knew it could be hacked?

You'll just have to search the 'net until you here of a hack.

I assume the Thomson is still a Samsung so have you tried the latest Samsung hacks including the 5000?

I didn't buy it. My brother did. He didn't ask me for advice before he bought it. The guy in the shop said he'd give him the hack, but I don't know if he has yet.


Actually if he gets the hack, he'll want to be borrowing some of my Region 1 DVDs.
