THE Cell R1 v R2

I was listening to the commentary on my R1 copy of The Cell the other day and mention was made (several times) of different scenes / cuts that appeared in the European version (R2 I guess).

Are there actually any differences between the R1/R2 versions of the film ??

R2 has a tasteful scene of Vincent D'Onofrio masturbating over a corpse :(

I thought the R1 was cut whereas R2 was uncut but I could be wrong. :confused:

You're right - a rare example, usually it's the other way round!

The R1 version is the US theatrical Cut

The R2 version is the US Unrated version.


All the cuts from the R1 disc are included on the disc as deleted scenes.
