Can you charge up a US Nintendo DS in the UK? Or a GBA SP?

When i tried to charge my US Gameboy SP in the UK, it wouldn't. I don't know if it was just a dodgy plug converter or if its just not possible.

Anyone know if this is the case, or if its possible to charge up the DS in the UK?

Well, I can charge my UK SP in the US using a converter so I assume you do have a dodgy converter.

Or just use a UK SP charger for the US models. That also applies to DS.
