View Full Version : which Urotsukidoji disks are uncut?
cos I don't want to end up with a goodie goodie Americanised version where they all sit down and have a tea party :D
So you want the full uncut version where all the little pre-teen looking girls get raped by big tentacled demons...right?!?
Damn...some people are sick...erm...not that i've watched it a few times or anything :D
Urotsukidoji: Perfect Collection is completely uncut and has an additional 50 mins of murder and mayhem. I think this is the only complete version - there is a set which contains all the episodes (as opposed to Perfect, which only contains 2), but it doesn't have the additional 50 mins.
BTW - I have the perfect collection for trade on my thread, if anyone's interested!!! It is mucho sicko - guaranteed!!

My bad...I know that the majority of manga/hentai/anime contains no rape, underage sex or any such thing,. But there is a small percentage of the market that has some very ********d up stuff in it, trust me...i've seen a lot of these films and they are somewhat disturbing.
I'm aware that there is a small percentage of the market that is truly messed up, and it is that small percentage that I want to stay away from....I've never seen anything that I can genuinely say is hentai and to be honest it doesn't really interest me, Urotsukidoji is probably as bad as I'd go, but then the only example of that that I have seen is the UK VHS release and whichever one was one Sci-Fi the other week. But thanks for your apology
You are very wise to stay away from hentai...it leaves a bad taste in your mouth and you wonder how a whole nation can get away with this sort of thing. It's like the japanese businessmen who go to karaoke bars to watch little 12 year old girls singin in skimpy outfits...there is something just...'not quite right'
Sadly, i'm an extremely curious person, i've seen snuff movies, hentai, beastiality movies and so much more. None of it turns me on, but I (like a lot of people in this world) have a morbid curiosity and if someone tells me that something is sick, immoral or wrong...I have to watch it to find out why.
There are many things that i wish i could unwatch, certain snuff movies which are now imprinted on my brain...hentai is also in that class. I know it's only animation and not real, but it comes from a real persons mind and I find that very unsettling, especially when you consider just how big hentai is on the net.

I have too say that i'm very much in the same boat as you. Can't help but see what all the fuss is about, but i have to say that i do find henti very distrubing

Are you sure you've seen genuine snuff movies, or just ones claiming or pretending to be ones (e.g. some "Guinea Pig" films)? I seem to remember reading that no 'actual' snuff film has ever been found, and that they're basically nothing more than an urban legend.
Oddly enough I'm very much interested in reading about this type of 'extreme' cinema in a censorship context, but I'm actually yet to see any of the films I do read about. Actually I doubt I ever will see such films.
I reckon the Urban Legends Reference Pages have pretty accurate information on 'real' snuff films. Apparently none have ever existed.

I'm like 95% sure that what i've seen are genuine snuff movies, I haven't seen the typical videos like Executions or whatever they are called, i've just seen stuff encoded and uploaded to the net on mIRC and anonymous newsgroups. Some of it is blatantly fake, but i've seen at least 1 clip that i'd say were genuine.
They basically involved a women tied to a bed as is the case with the majority of snuff movies, then two guys come in, they rape her, she screams a lot and then they kill her.
Well, you may say to yourself this could obviously be staged, she could be pretending to be raped and then they could use a cheap fake knife to make it look as though she got killed.
However, one thing changed my mind, the entire movie was one long continuous shot, from the time you first see the girl to the time she is gutted...yes thats right, they run the knife from right to left across her belly and her intestines spill out. I don't really see any way that this could have been fake without some very expensive hollywood special effects, because as I said, it was one long shot with no cuts whatsoever. It couldn't have been the womens head on a fake body either as they untie her and she sits up at one point in the film, it is clearly her whole body and it is real.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't you think you should report this??

Okay, I'm officially very disturbed now! :(
Having read a lot about snuff movies (though never going as far as you have by actually trying to watch any), I think the very nature of MAKING a snuff movie and making it AVAILABLE in any form is what makes snuff movies very unlikely. Quite simply, the risk of committing murder and being caught is not worth it, when it is done for money in this way. iT can't be an industry, and it can't make the murderers enough money, so the risk of the movie being traced back to them is not worth the rsik of making it. THAT is what makes snuff movies unconvincing, not the analysis of the films themselves.
A lot of people... even respected feminists... have written about seeing "snuff" movies that looked so completely real that they believed it was real. When they describe what they saw, it is usually clear that they have seen one of the well-known fakes.
I guess it COULD have been real... but I hope to god it wasn't...

Yeah, which is what Charlie Sheen said too! ;)
Seriously, I'm not in any way suggesting you're not being honest about what you thought you saw, but I'm still rather skeptical. As SqueakyG said, killing someone on screen is a rather risky was of making money to put it mildly. Plus I presume you saw this in the form of relatively low quality MPEG or similar (seeing as you got it off the Net), in which case I suppose (and someone please correct me if I'm wrong) someone with the time, inclination and the right (not too expensive) software can cook up something that looks reasonably like the real deal.

I also read that to date, there as been no evidence that a snuff movie has ever been created.
Wasn't there a series of films that did the rounds in Hollywood at private parties? Flowers in the Garden or something like that? ( Edit: Since found out that it's part of the Guinea Pig series) Anyway, i think Charlie Sheen got caught hosting a party where these films were being played, he would have been in serious @@@@, but they are fake. These films are meant to be ultra-realistic because they are very expensive to buy, hence the reason why they did the round in Hollywood.
Look at that Roswell autopsy tape! It's got to be at least 10yrs old & it's all in one shot & very convincing. It's reasonable to assume that they could take things a step further & fake the kind of scene you described earlier. If the woman was thin, they could easily knock up a fake stomach for the intestines.
Also, isn't it a MAJOR offence to even see a snuff film & not report it straight away? Think about it, it's like obstruction of justice. If you tried to report it now, you could be facing a jail term.

It was actually a good quality encoding, avi format 352x240 size. It was clear & I could see what was happening...as I said, because it was one long shot it makes me believe that this could have been real.
There is a market out there on the net for this kind of stuff, there is even a 'rape' paysite where someone has ripped every rape scene from popular films and placed them in a protected area, people join up, a lot of people, the guy makes 6 figures a year.
Whether it's real or not, I cannot say 100%, but i'm a level headed person, i've got a good eye for detail & i'm pretty sure what i saw was real...but i can't prove it

How can it be an offence not to report it...if officially snuff films don't exist ;)
An interesting article on the snuff film legend here (http://www.snopes.com/movies/other/snuff.htm). (**Warning: Some strong Language**)
:( This kind of stuff makes me feel sick. What kind of world do we live in, when not only are there people that can do this, but also people that will pay to watch it. I understand that rape is a very real occurrence in society today and so films have to portray it, but for someone to make or pretend to make a film of someone actually being raped and murdered is sick to say the least. I am against censorship, but people that make this kind of stuff are scum and are on the same level as paedophiles.

I know the subject matter of this topic has drifted, but I found an interesting article mentioned somewhere else, a little while back that suggests that "snuff" does exist AND there is a link to Britian. Check it out here at Guardian Unlimited (http://www.guardian.co.uk/Archive/Article/0,4273,4070446,00.htm) and judge for yourselves.
I'm not going to speculate as to whether snuff films actually exist, I can however point out how easy they would be to fake, even in one continuous shot. A friend on mine whilst at university was an avid film maker (and a very good one at that) who decided to make what he termed a "bad taste" film, it was shot on a camcorder and ok was edited, but there was one part of the movie which was a continuous shot of some guy basically being gutted and you could not tell that the flesh being cut was fake and that the "guts" that spilled out were something he got at a butcher's shop. But once you got past the gore of the guy going to the pain fetish and shoe repair store. :D
He eventually got the film distributed by a company in Scandinavia, it was called homebrew if I remember.
But if someone using a camcorder with no budget whatsoever can realisitically cut into someone's gut, then someone with a large budget can most certainly do it.
Oh...I better point out that Homebrew was not a "snuff" movie....just something done in the worst possible taste

There's a link to a full cuts list for Urotsukidoji on over at MelonFarmers (http://www.melonfarmers.co.uk/archnew.htm). Needless to say it's pretty graphic, so watch out.
Am I right in thinking that the only episode with hardcore sex was Urotsukidoji I?
