Watch itv on sky digital

dont know if this has already been posted but found this on another forum the other day and it works:
1/ press services on sky remote.
2/ 4 system set up.
3/ 4 add channels.
4/ frequency- 10.832.
5/ polarisation- H.
6/ symbol rate- 22.0.
7/ FEC- 5/6.
8/ find channels press select.
9/ press yellow button to store and curser down
and store the next channel.
10/ press select when complete.
too access the saved new channels. services on sky remote 6 other channels and there are the channels you have stored....
OTHERS ARE AS FOLLOWS;
frequency 10.891 10.906 10.902
polarisation H V H
symbol rate 22.0 22.0 22.0
fec 5/6 5/6 5/6
that should get you carlton/lwt,central,htv wales,htv west,west country south,anglia,border eng, border scot, granada, meridian,tyne tees,yorkshire,grampian, scottish,and ulster...

You have given in total 4 Frequency's. But you say that it should give you

that should get you carlton/lwt,central,htv wales,htv west,west country south,anglia,border eng, border scot, granada, meridian,tyne tees,yorkshire,grampian, scottish,and ulster...

How with only 4

when you're done it will give you a load of "found channels" to store. They are ITV regions. Some work, some don't. You just save the ones you want and access them through the services menu. They are all called 1-3, 2-6 and the like so you have to experiment.

There is a thread in the general forum with all the info.

Yep, all of this is correct.

ITV2 also has EPG information on 3-5 but no programmes, just a test card.

ITV is set to launch properly on 103 next Tuesday, November 20th.

No-one outside of Yorkshire will understand but ITV on Sky means a good picture of the bloke on Calendar (Mike Morris??). Now who would want to see the ugliest man on telly with a good picture.

And the nice thing about all this, is that Sky digiboxes in the Republic of Ireland also have access to these test-So We for the first time ever have access to all ITV regions :) :):)
Unfortunately on ROI Sky digiboxes the channel EPG list starts at 106.
There is no 101 to 105.
In the ROI these will be taken up by the Irish channels , when RTE conclude a deal with Sky-rumoured to be quite soon.
So if anybody wants to watch RTE or Irelands TV3-next year you might be able to get an equivalent RTE card that will do the job.
Their US programmes are shown around the same time as Sky ones!

this is excellent news, as itv announced that on tuesday in regions outside of London they will show either the liverpool or man utd game, but london wont have anything on tuesday but can have arsenal. Now i can view different itv regions this gives the viewer the choice.

Don't get too used to it. Because of rights issues, once the service is properly up and running you'll only get your local ITV region (mapping via postcode) and will not be able to access any others. At least, that's the plan.

Far as I know, they aren't even testing these on DSAT yet.
