PS2 game bought in france work on a UK PS2 console?

should do, pal is a europe wide standard type thing isn't it ? manual might be in french, but you should be able to select english for in game text. also i have an italian ps2 game and that works fine.

well french ps1 games worked when driver first came out so i dont see why not.
