Just seen that they're releasing the live League of Gentlemen at Drury Lane dvd on 19th November - I need a dose of them soon to keep me happy.
I saw the show when it came to Wolverhampton -- absolutely brilliant, and even closer to the edge than the TV show. Everyone MUST own this!!
But thanks to the good old Beeb, I still can't watch Series 2 on my DVD! Anyone heard anything about plans to re-release?
PS. I had similar problems with Father Ted series 2. Anyone else?
If you're a big fan and don't have it already, get the League of Gentlemen original radio series on tape. Much of it went on to become the TV series, but there's a fair bit that didn't. It's very funny - an excellent driving tape. It's so good, it once made me lock my keys in the car as I was busy laughing as I got out (amazing how quickly you can stop laughing and start crying) :)

I don't have any problems with either series - whats up with yours???
There was a problem with the disc on some players and PC's. Apparently the PC problem can be sorted by downloading a 'patch' (whatever that is) but no such luck on my cheap'n'cheerful Matsui DVD122.
Basically the thing just freezes up at the first menu and you can't select anything. Same trouble with Father Ted S.2.
Its enough to make you black up your face and go and abduct half a dozen new wives.

i've seen their lundun show. It was alright. Second half much better because it felt like a stage show.
i'm a big gents fan, and i'd like the live dvd. Anywhere cheaper than £15 from under18?
also, i really should get those beeb tapes!

Anyone know when we're likely to be screwed for the LoG Christmas Special on DVD?;)
