I've been thinking about getting the Buffy VCD's off someone but I don't know wether they will play on my DVD player? My Toshiba 2109 doesn't play MP3's...is there any chance it will play VCD's?

Bugger :(
Does anyone know if you can get a chip or anything to allow it to play mp3's and vcd's? Or am I gonna have to buy a new player? I know it sounds drastic but I was also hoping to get friends on VCD as well as it'll be a hec of a lot cheaper!
It will play a certain brand/type of vcd
if you look here
http://www.vcdhelp.com/dvdlist/483.html
it will tell you the type of cdr and software to use

Some VCDs/CDRs do play. I have Larions working fine. Do a search on www.google.com cos you'll find other brands.
Never had a problem playing VCD's on my multi-region 2109B.
