I've searched through some of the threads regarding digital camcorders, but could not find anything definative relating to this particular camcorder.

Has anyone got the Sony TRV255E Digital 8 camcorder? if so is it possible to download films from the camcorder and burn to DVD? also any help on deciding whether to get this or a MiniDV camcorder would be greatly appreciated :)

Can anyone help at all? really not sure whether to go for this or a MiniDV camcorder :)

as long as it has a "DV out" or usb port you can do that, or even if your computer has a tv card you can probably do it from any camcorder. don't know about the quality or how to do this. The TRV250E has both dv out and usb but i don't know about the 255 sorry.
